I bought two filters in early may on for my Icom 751. I misunderstood my manual, thinking that the ic 751 would allow installation of both the fl 52a and fl 53a, however only one filter can be installed and I chose the fl 52a 500 hz.

I installed the fl 53a filter a couple of weeks ago and it worked as it should, but is too narrow for my cw operating needs. The Icom fl 53a is the 250 hz cw filter 455. For use with ic 703, 718, 736, 737, 738, 746, 751, 756, 761, 765, ic 775dsp and perhaps others. And plugs in.
