I am being very over critical. I am sure it will also fit other brand and model radios. Maybe even wiping it down with some wd40 would work I only ship to the contiguous lower 48 us states.
I am sure you can just wire brush or steel wool the white stuff off. You just can't find these any more. Items are sold as is.
It's fine to use it as it is right now. I will try to answer quickly and the best I can. It was on a shelf in its original bag for many years never used.
The legs open and close fine. I have to list it as used because of the discoloration but I know it was never used. There is signs of discoloration in some spots on the metal from sitting for years.
Look at the pictures and ask questions before you bid. This is a well built stand that can also be used on a table in the house to tilt the radio to a nice position. The straps look unused and fine. It looks to be very versatile.
Up for offer is a mobile mounting bracket made by Yaesu for their ft and frg series radios. I tried it on a couple of spots and it worked.
The mount also comes with its original instruction sheet that was packed with it. It has an extra set of larger cups that the radio feet sit into. It came from the estate of a silent key.
